About
Hey, I'm Joe. In the past I was a philosopher, a teacher, a fortune teller, a half-assed Zen monk, a screenprinter, a poet-for-hire, and an intermittent writer. I learned to code in 2020, fell into the computer, and never came back out.
These days I'm building AI/ML courses at Codecademy and leading their Curriculum AI Labs. I also run a small mushroom farm with my wife Joann, Misty River Mushrooms. I love discussing AI, education, civic technology, and how to make utopian science fiction come true.
